THE TRAVEL BUNNY’S MISSION:
Make traveling easy to plan, budget-friendly, and absolutely amazing!
How I Started This Budget Travel Blog
Travel has always been part of my life. I remember exploring new places with my family as a child and feeling the thrill of seeing new landscapes, cultures, and people. But as much as I loved travel, I quickly learned it could get pricey. Over time, I discovered ways to cut down costs without sacrificing experiences. The Travel Bunny was born out of this desire – a budget travel blog where I could share my tried-and-tested tips and help others travel well on a budget.
In the early days of this affordable travel blog, I started by writing about nearby destinations and sharing stories from my travels with friends and family. I realized that I wasn’t alone in wanting to travel more affordably – there was a community of people looking for realistic advice on budget-friendly travel. So, I expanded The Travel Bunny to reach others like you, providing insights to help you make the most of your trips without overspending.

Oh, and in case you were wondering…
Travel Bunny meaning
Well, when I was a kid, my best friend (and even her parents!) would call me Mirela Iepurela. Iepurela is a childish way to name the female bunny in Romanian. I got stuck with this nickname and I came to love it. Now I playfully sign my name like this whenever I’m writing emails or cards to friends or even to close colleagues.
As you can see, for as long as I can remember, I’ve been a bunny. Now, bunny travels has become my way of connecting with readers who love affordable adventures as much as I do.
Join me here on The Travel Bunny as I share tips, guides, and personal stories that’ll turn anyone into a savvy traveling bunny, ready to see the world without overspending.
Note. You may see the blog referenced as The Travel Bunny or Travel Bunny in various places, but the official name is always spelled The Travel Bunny, not The Travelbunny.
