The Handmade Store is owned and operated by Karan and Navneet, a brother-sister duo. It all started in 2018 when they set a goal for themselves: to assist Indian craftswomen and local artisans, particularly those that make handmade jewelry, rugs, home decor, and accessories. Handmade art has the capacity to create a simple item that will make you feel special. The Handmade Store wanted to make wonderful, long-lasting art available to everyone, thus it has steadily evolved into a global business. The company currently employs over 100 women in communities throughout Rajasthan. Many women in India have lost their employment as a result of the pandemic. The Handmade Store gives them an opportunity to not only provide for their families but also to express themselves and delight the whole world with their work. The Handmade Store cut out the middleman and sells the products at half the retail price, allowing anyone to purchase and appreciate amazing works of art!
