Theth National Park Tour: 3-Day Trip from Tirana

Day 1: Tirana – Shkoder – Theth

• You will be transported from Tirana to Shkodra, the largest city in the north.
• Following your visit to Shkodra, you will be transported through the beautiful Theth National Park.
• We then make a pit stop at Qaf Thore, a mountain pass with breathtaking views of the Theth Valley.
• Summer driving time from Shkodra to Theth is approximately 2:30- 3 hours; winter driving time is approximately 5-6 hours.
• When you get in Theth, you’ll spend the day exploring the surroundings and taking in the charm of the village, which is noted for its beautiful scenery and classic wooden-tiled cottages.
• Depending on your mood, you can either walk or be driven downhill from the guesthouse to the village’s attractions.
• There will be opportunities to visit the local church and the Kulla e Ngujimit, a tower that was once utilized by men as a refuge from those involved in ‘blood feuds.’
• Accommodation in a local guesthouse.

Day 2: Theth

• On your second day in Theth, you’ll tour some of Albania’s most spectacular natural features.
• After a 30-minute off-road drive or a 2.5-hour hike, you’ll arrive at the famed Blue Eye, a natural phenomenon formed by extremely cold water rising from deep inside the ground and flowing into the river’s warmer waters.
• Visit the waterfall and the Canyon of Theth after spending some time at the Blue Eye.
• After a day of exploring nature and enjoying the outdoors, we’ll return to the guest home for a delicious meal and comfortable rooms.
• Accommodation in a local guesthouse.

Day 3: Theth – Shkoder – Tirana

• After spending the morning in Theth, you will be transported to Shkodra, the largest city in the north. Visit Rozafa Castle and enjoy the spectacular view of Shkodra Lake, which is encircled by mountains.
• We will return to Tirana after visiting Rozafa Castle. On the way back, the lovely vistas of the Theth valley will be a part of your journey. Your Theth National Park Tour will come to an end in Tirana.
